Athina Alexi Bourtzi

Born in the vibrant city of Athens, Greece, in January 1990, Athina's journey into photography was as organic as it was destined. Although she pursued a degree in Nursing at the University of Athens, her heart was always drawn to the arts. In the quiet moments between caring for patients, she found solace in capturing the world around her through her camera lens.

Even in her formative years, Athina exhibited a keen eye for detail and a profound appreciation for the beauty surrounding us. Inspired by the wonders of nature, the melodies of music, and the narratives found within the pages of books, she embarked on a journey to explore the art of photography more deeply. In 2020, fueled by her unwavering passion, she decided to attend photography seminars, honing her skills and refining her craft.

At the core of her artistic ethos is a profound belief in the transformative power of art. She is a hopeless romantic dreamer, a soul who sees the world through the lens of possibility and potential. To her, art is not merely a form of expression, but a catalyst for change—a means of awakening humanity to the truths that lie dormant within each of us.

In her own words, Athina Alexi Bourtzi encapsulates her philosophy succinctly: "Art can change the world if humans are ready to see the truth of themselves." Through her evocative photography, she invites us to embark on a journey of self-discovery, to confront the depths of our own humanity, and to embrace the beauty that resides in the raw!

Lionel Brun-Jacome

Lionel Brun-Jacome emerges as a visionary, wielding his lens to transcend temporal boundaries. With a wandering and curious eye, he invites viewers into a world suspended in time, where urban landscapes become canvases for poetic realism.

Brun-Jacome's artistic journey is an ode to the beauty found in the ordinary, where the mundane is transformed into the extraordinary. His photographs, steeped in a half-naive, half-sharp gaze, evoke a sense of timelessness, transcending the constraints of mere documentation. In his lens, the present moment is paramount, for, as he eloquently puts it, "Only the present exists, materially. The rest is just concept."

Central to his body of work is architectural photography, where he melds the rigidity of structures with the fluidity of imagination. Each composition tells a story, weaving together elements of the past, present, and future. His photographs capture the essence of a place, not merely its physical attributes but also the emotions it evokes.

What sets Brun-Jacome apart is his ability to infuse his images with a sense of poetry. His photographs are not mere representations of reality but rather windows into a dreamlike realm. Through careful composition and nuanced lighting, he imbues his subjects with a sense of mystique, inviting viewers to explore beyond the surface.

In Brun-Jacome's world, architecture becomes more than just bricks and mortar. Each building, each street corner, carries within it a story waiting to be told. Through his lens, Brun-Jacome unravels these narratives, revealing the beauty hidden in the mundane.

One cannot discuss Brun-Jacome's work without mentioning its timelessness. His photographs seem to exist outside the confines of temporal constraints, capturing moments that are at once fleeting and eternal. In freezing the sensation of a fleeting dream, he invites viewers to ponder the transient nature of existence and the enduring power of memory.
