Paola Francesca Barone

Art Photographer

Italy

Of Apulian and Arbereshe origin, Neapolitan by adoption and with a humanistic education, she has

always been passionate about photography and has taught herself. As a teenager she begins

taking analog photos with a Zeiss from the 50s, then changes to digital. Initially attracted by

architectural photography, she then moves onto the minimal, abstract and, during the pandemic,

self-portrait and conceptual. From around 2019, photography has been an emotional diary for her

and so preserves the trait of discovery and extemporaneousness, and her projects also follow

inner time more than externa.

Since 2020 he has received numerous international awards BIFA, IPA, LENSCULTURE,

ONEEYLAND, MONOVISION, MINIMALIST PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS etc. ) and has

participated in various exhibitions in Italy and abroad; his photos are also published in Italian and

international magazines (Collateral Magazine, Dodho Magazine, PENG Magazine, FIGGI

Magazine, Oneeyeland, International Photo etc.).
