In the bustling streets of Athens, where history meets contemporary life, a group of passionate photography enthusiasts gathered in 2023 to embark on a captivating journey through the lens of street photography. Moments Collective, a distinguished photography site, orchestrated a dynamic and immersive Street Photography Workshop led by the esteemed instructor, Tassos Spetsieris.
From the outset, the workshop aimed to transcend the boundaries of conventional photography by delving into the raw and unfiltered essence of urban life. Participants eagerly embraced the opportunity to refine their skills.

Over the course of the workshop, participants engaged in nine inspiring meetings, each unfolding in the heart of Athens or at special events that showcased the city's diverse and vibrant culture. The carefully curated locations served as a canvas for participants to explore and capture the unique stories woven into the fabric of the city.

The streets of Athens, with their eclectic mix of ancient landmarks, modern architecture, and lively street scenes, provided the perfect backdrop for the workshop. From the iconic Plaka district to the bustling Monastiraki Square, participants discovered the beauty in the mundane and learned to uncover extraordinary stories hidden in plain sight.

I was born in Athens, Greece in 1959 and graduated from the Pharmaceutical School of the University of Athens in 1982. Photography has been my biggest love since 1973. I have participated in many Greek and International Salons under FIAP patronage, gaining several distinctions and titles. I was a founding member of the Hellenic Leica Club where I had the honour to be a president from 1994 until 1996 and also the PSA (Photographic Society of America) Representative of Greece for many years.
Not only were I blessed to experience some of the best film photography decades, 70's to 90's, but also to witness the huge digital revolution in photography and manage to follow at a high level each and every step of it, during the first difficult years, the rapid improvements up to today's glory. I love both worlds, although film days were definitely the best.
I use Leica M, Hasselblad X and Sony A7R systems. I shoot Real Estate, Portraits in studio and on location, Street, Events, Cityscapes and Commercial photography, in a wide variety of themes.

My name is Fay Zaharopoulou and I was born and lived my childhood in New Jersey, USA. My mother language is English and I have studied advertising and marketing. I am an Official Member and Meetings Coordinator of Moments Collective since 2023.
My love and passion for photography began as a child, when my parents bought me my first camera. It was a Polaroid which made me feel so thrilled, since I could instantly see what I had photographed. Since then, I haven’t stopped taking photographs, by any means that could possibly be used.
I am self-taught and have taken part in a few photography exhibitions. My First Street Photography Workshop participations courses were in September 2023 and now, the second which started in January 2024, organized by Moments Collective with instructor Mr Tassos Spetsieris, who helped me to find my personal Style in Photography.

My name is Nancy Andritsopoulou. I was born and live in Athens. I am 49 years old and I remember being enchanted by the world of photography since I was a child, when I picked up my father's camera. So photography has been in my life for as long as I can remember. I started out as self-taught but my love for the medium made me an eternal student. Through my images I travel to other lives and situations, different from our own reality. In imaginary places or... brutally real. My goal is always to try to show you everything that I can't or...don't want to tell you.

Spyros Kotzambassis with distinguished studies in Economics in Greece and New York stopped his professional life with the markets and devoted himself to sports as a long-distance runner. Afterwards, he became involved in photography while also attending related studies.

For over twenty years Evdoxia Fasoula has been involved in imaging as a forensic photographer (forensic graphologist), having studied in Italy, at the University of Urbino. Seeking the justice of a beneficial distraction, during the last five years she has systematically pursued a conversation with artistic photography. She has attended photography courses at the “Diadromes” photography group and at iFocus.
She has participated in group photography exhibitions in Greece and abroad, while her photos have been selected and reposted by international photography digital magazines and important hubs. She has written a book on scientific photo-optical multimedia, as well as the bilingual photographic-graphological album “Urban Graphemes”, a journey through graffiti & street art. She is also a member and curator of the international instagramic, photography groups @kalopsia_collective and @street_avengers, of the Italian photographic association Alpido @associazionealpido and an official member of the Greek photographic platform @moments_collective_.
She usually photographs on the street and in the context of reflective music, seeking out rifts in the time, quirks and small distortions of reality.
